This is part two of a reading I did for a querent in May of this year. For part one and the background to this story, please see the previous post (“Should She Call Him?”.) 😊

Question #2: Will X himself reach out to the querent in the next 3 to 6 months?

Cards used: Noblet-Flornoy Marseille deck (Major Arcana, plus one card from the Minor Arcana at the end)

Situation: L’Empereur, Force, L’Imperatrice (plus Huit de Deniers)

In this reading, the agency here lies with X, who’s embodied by L’Empereur (the Emperor). The cards show him leading the line and taking the initiative to contact the querent. Apart from the recurrence of two cards from the first reading which confirm the connection between the two, there’s also an amazing symmetry here: on the one hand, L’Empereur (our man of action), on the other L’Imperatrice (the Empress). And here’s that Force (Strength) card in between.

So the answer is “yes”, but it’s a qualified “yes”, in the sense that his taking action to contact her may not bring about the result result she was was hoping for right now. Why not?

Three to six months from now, L’Imperatrice doesn’t look too interested anymore. She’s looking askance and seems to have other things on her mind. Of course the face on the Imperatrice always looks that way, LOL 😅, so I pulled another card (from the minor arcana) for see what she’ll have on her mind that makes her look so uninterested. Was it another guy?

The card pulled was the Huit de Deniers (Eight of Coins) . So no, not another guy at all. The Eights are usually associated with thoughts, so here it’s probably things to do with money. That’s why I had said that the answer to this question was, “Yes, but…”

Feedback: The querent told me the reading made sense because she was expecting her financial situation to change around September.

Update: A month and a half after doing this reading I heard that the querent had left the company where she had been employed. It makes sense that money would be on her mind.
