So on Christmas morning I ask my Marseille Tarot as usual what to look out for today. I get Temperance (card XIIII), followed by La Force (card XI). I’m still half asleep, but I figure this is just about the fact that I’m planning to make some home-made icing and mix in different colours (Temperance) for the cookies I’ll be feeding my daughter (La Force, haha) when we get together later that day.

I’m only half impressed by this and say, so is that all? I decide not to resist temptation and I draw two more cards to see if maybe I can get more details about the day. Something more exciting, you know? L’Empereur (card IIII) and Le Monde (card XXI) come out. What a mess, I think, now I really don’t know what this means.

So I make the icing and decorate the cookies and spend an enjoyable Christmas evening with my daughter. When I come back home I look at the cards again because I’m still looking for something more “profound”, hahaha. The numbers on the first two cards finally catch my eye: XIIII + XI = XXV = today’s date, the 25th! Yes, dodo, say the cards, it’s Christmas. Today is the 25th and that’s Christmas! Ohhh, I say again. I look at the other two cards I had drawn: IIII + XXI = XXV. Now the cards are really laughing. How much clearer can we get? We already told you. It’s Christmas, it’s Christmas! 🤣 🎄
